FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions:

What warranty do you provide?

Every Soulaca TV comes with a standard 2-years warranty covering parts and labor. Ask us for updated warranty and more information when you purchase your television.

Can TVs be repaired after the warranty expires?

Yes, our in-house service team offers fast, affordable out-of-warranty repairs worldwide. Contact us anytime for assistance.

Will the TV I receive support my country’s TV broadcast standard?

Absolutely. We configure and ship every TV with the appropriate TV tuner standard (PAL, NTSC, SECAM, DVB-T/T2/C/S2, ATSC, ISDB-T, etc.) and correct power plug according to your shipping address or instructions provided in the order notes — ensuring plug-and-play compatibility worldwide.

Do you provide the correct power plug for my country?

Yes! We automatically ship the TV with the correct regional power plug and matching TV broadcast standard (PAL/NTSC/SECAM) based on your delivery address or any specific request in the order notes.

Why can’t I install a regular TV in the bathroom or any humid/wet area?

Regular TVs are not designed for wet environments. Here’s what typically goes wrong:

  • Open ventilation holes on the back allow steam and water droplets to enter the electronics, causing corrosion, short circuits, or complete failure.
  • Condensation builds up inside the panel, leading to permanent clouding or damage to the backlight and circuitry.
  • In extreme cases, moisture can create electrical hazards or even fire risks.

Soulaca waterproof TVs are completely sealed with an IPX4+ (or higher) rating, and have no exposed vents — making them safe and reliable in bathrooms, spas, kitchens, or any high-humidity location.

How difficult is the installation?

Installation is straightforward and versatile, with most Soulaca TV models supporting multiple options simultaneously: recessed mounting (in-wall slot for a flush, seamless look), wall mounting (surface or VESA-compatible for easy hanging like a picture frame), and Hidden Power Cord (through-wall wiring to conceal cables for a clean, safe setup). All necessary hardware, brackets, and detailed instructions are included. For step-by-step guides, including tools needed and model-specific tips, please refer to our How to Install page.

What connections do most models support?

Soulaca TVs offer HDMI (1–3 ports), USB, AV input, optical audio out, headphone jack, RJ45 Ethernet, built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a TV tuner(for TV models only), making it easy to connect gaming consoles, soundbars, streaming devices, and more.

Do you supply waterproof remote controls with all your products?

Some models include a waterproof remote, while others come with a standard remote (with or without a protective cover). Important: Regardless of the type, the remote is designed for use in humid environments but must not be submerged or directly splashed with water. For safe operation, always keep the remote dry during use.

What does the IP rating mean?

IP (Ingress Protection) rating indicates dust and water resistance. For IP65, the first digit (6) means completely dust-tight; the second digit (5 or higher) means protected against water jets from any direction. Soulaca’s IP65+ rating is ideal for bathroom and spa use.

Is everything needed for installation and operation included?

Yes! Each TV includes a custom mounting bracket, power cord/adapter, remote control, installation screws & wall plugs, and detailed instructions — everything you need to get started right out of the box.

Can I connect external speakers?

Yes, most models support external audio output (optical, Bluetooth, or 3.5mm). You can choose between built-in speakers or an external sound system (not simultaneously).

Are the built-in speakers waterproof?

Absolutely. All internal speakers are fully sealed and waterproof, delivering clear, rich sound even in steamy bathroom conditions.

Why don’t you include batteries with the remote?

Due to the air shipping regulations on lithium batteries, we do not include them. The remote uses standard AA or AAA batteries, which are widely available.

Are your TVs suitable for commercial or residential use?

Both! Our durable, waterproof design is perfect for luxury homes, hotels, spas, gyms, yachts, and any high-humidity commercial environment.

What is the difference between a smart TV and a smart display?

Both smart TVs and smart displays come with the same smart operating systems such as Google TV or webOS and provide identical smart features, apps, and streaming capabilities.

The only key difference is that a smart TV has a built-in TV tuner, which allows it to directly receive and watch over-the-air broadcast channels and cable TV signals without any additional equipment.

A smart display does not include a built-in TV tuner, so it cannot tune or display traditional TV channels on its own. It is designed primarily for streaming content through the internet or connecting to external sources (e.g., cable box, set-top box, or antenna with a separate tuner).

Currently, Soulaca Smart TVs use standard AC power (100-240 V) with a built-in leakage protection switch for added safety, while Soulaca Smart displays use safer 12V DC low-voltage power supply.

In short, if you need to watch traditional TV channels directly, choose a smart TV. If you mainly stream content or use external devices and prefer the safest possible low-voltage option, the smart display is the better choice.
